Leaving a Legacy is a company that is born of the desire to
give people a voice to tell the story of their life and to
preserve that history for others.
Elyssa Dillon is the owner of Leaving a Legacy. She is a
personal historian and writer. She has worked in the fields
of museums and historic preservation as a curator and
exhibit designer. In addition to museums she has worked
overseas as a teacher of ESL, social studies, and health.
Elyssa holds a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the
University of Northern Colorado where she received
several awards for original research work.
Elyssa loves to hear about other's lives and hopes that
through her company families will know the story of their
families. She wants to see children know the stories of
their great, great, great grandparents and to have the
history of those grandparents remembered for years to
come.
We serve central Wyoming areas. We also offer distance services. Please contact us for more information.
