We offer a personalized four step process:

Initial Consultation

 The initial consultation is the first meeting that allows Elyssa to get to know you a little better.  She will present you with a list of possible interview questions.  Unlike other personal historian services we don't just have you fill in a questionaire or ask general questions.  We want your participation in the subject matter so we allow you to choose the questions you are most comfortable answering.

Interview Process

 The interview process can take up to a month.  Elyssa will meet with you once or twice a week for a few hours.  She will record each session asking the questions you chose.

Transcription/Editing

 The transciption/editing phase is when we transcribe every interview. This process usually takes a couple weeks as it takes two to three hours to transcribe every hour of interview time.  We remove filler words and edit the interviews so that they remain in your words and style of speech. 

Final Consultation

 At the final consultation Elyssa will present you with a draft.  It will be ready for printing after you have read and approved it.
